Sandra Yates, MSIS, CA, DAS is the Archivist & Special Collections Librarian for the Texas Medical Center Library, McGovern Historical Center in Houston, TX. She manages the preservation and access to the library's special collections, including rare books, audiovisual materials, photographs, institutional records, personal papers, and digital materials. She has also held the positions of Instructional Technologies Librarian and Web Services Librarian. She is active in the Association of Moving Image Archivists (AMIA), where she has been a core member of the Community Archiving Workshop (CAW) since 2011.
