Jennifer joined the Dittrick Museum as Registrar and Assistant Archivist in 1989 and participated in the Ohio Medical Artifact Cataloging Project, an effort to catalog medical artifacts in the MaRC format and add them to the OCLC database. In 1998, Jennifer was appointed Archivist for the Center, while retaining her responsibilities as Museum Registrar. Since joining the Dittrick staff, Jennifer has been an active member of the Medical Museums Association and has served as Secretary/Treasurer since 1998. She is also a member of the Archivists and Librarians in the History of the Health Sciences, the Cleveland Archival Round-table, the Ohio Academy of Medical History and the Society of Ohio Archivists.

Jennifer is currently supervising an effort to catalog and photograph the 200K+ instrument collection in order to provide online accessibility.
