Dominique Daniel currently works as Coordinator of Archives and Special Collections and Humanities Librarian for History and Modern Languages at Oakland University. As such she is responsible for donor relations, processing, digitization projects, reference and outreach. She holds a Master of Science in Information from the University of Michigan and a doctorate in American studies/history, from the University of Paris 7 (France). She has published articles on the history and theory of ethnic archives. She recently co-edited a book on Identity Palimpsests: Archiving Ethnicity in the United States and Canada.
