Anne Cuyler Salsich, Associate Archivist at Oberlin College, is chairing the session on teaching with objects in archives and special collections. She has held professional positions in publishing, museums and archives for over 25 years. In addition to her MLIS, her master's degree in Public History from the University of California at Santa Barbara informs her approach to archival work. Anne has curated several exhibitions, including a photography and film exhibition on the representation of cultural landscapes in the 20th and early 21st centuries at the Richard F. Brush Art Gallery at St. Lawrence University in 2010. Additonally she has created or co-created a number of digital publications and multi-media exhibits working in collaboration with faculty, staff and students at Oberlin College. Anne is serving on the SAA Host Committee. She is active in the Visual Materials Section, for which she served as newsletter editor from 2012-March 2015.
