Coordinator of Technical Services
Katy is the Coordinator of Technical Services in the Special Collections Research Center, Temple University Libraries, where she supervises processing, access tool creation, preservation, and collection management for the holdings, which include rare book, periodical, and ephemera collections, and archival and manuscript holdings with extensive photographic, film, video, digitized, and born-digital content. She has worked previously at the Barnes Foundation, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the American College of Physicians, and the Beinecke Library at Yale University, and received her MLS from Simmons College. She is a former Chair of the SAA Museum Archives Section, and a current member of the SAA-ACRL/RBMS Joint Task Force on the Development of Standardized Holdings Counts and Measures for Archival Repositories and Special Collections Libraries.
