The Catholic University of America’s Library and Information Science program is ranked top ten for job placement and average salaries by Library Journal. We’re located in the Nation’s capital, where many of our alumni work at the Library of Congress, Smithsonian Institute, NARA, and other archival and cultural heritage organizations. Students acquire practicum at these places, as well.  We offer a Master’s in Library and Information Science, an Advanced Certificate in Cultural Heritage Information Management (CHIM), and non-degree courses. Both degree-seekers and non-degree-seekers enjoy our Arts and Museums Institute, and can enjoy off-campus courses taught at the Library of Congress (e.g. Archives Management, Preservation and Rare Books). For more CHIM information, contact Dr. Youngok Choi (choiy@cua.edu) and for Archives contact Dr. Jane Zhang (zhangj@cua.edu).
