The topic, “Data Driven Decision Making for Selecting Digitization Projects,” examines how archivists are looking for new ways to identify materials to digitize in ways that meet the needs of their patrons. In his case study, Ryan K. Lee examines efforts to improve digitization selection choices in the L. Tom Perry Special Collections at Brigham Young University. He describes data-driven digitization, discusses the sources of data used to drive those decisions, and looks ahead to the next steps.
