Assessment activities have emerged as increasingly important areas of action, framed particularly by the new joint SAA/RBMS Task Forces. This panel discussion examines engagement with assessment activities that lead to action. Focusing on projects ranging from lightweight, agile initiatives to deep, ongoing inquiries, the presenters explore a diversity of experiences and stimulate discussion. Together, attendees confront challenges and ponder the promise of assessment in archives and special collections.
