SESSION 502 - Narrowing the Focus of Digital and Social Media Outreach

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

This session brings together archivists from diverse institutions that have created narrowly focused digital outreach projects that utilize a small number of collections for targeting a specific audience across various social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Tumblr.  Presentations focus on practical suggestions for successfully implementing or improving digital outreach projects. The author of the 2014 Theodore Calvin Pease Award-winning paper, which discusses narrowly focused social media outreach, moderates the session.
