SESSION 403 - Best Practices for Volunteers in Archives

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

In 2014, SAA published Best Practices for Volunteers in Archives, a set of suggested guidelines for archives institutions and organizations about the use of volunteers. Archivists who engage with volunteers in their archives may have questions about how the Best Practices guidelines affect the management of volunteers locally. This session provides an opportunity for attendees to converse with two archivists who are using the guidelines in their archives and one of the Council members who helped draft the Best Practices document.
