SESSION 404 - Digital Archivists and Information Technologists: A Collaborative Challenge

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Archivists understand the requisite principles and objectives for managing born-digital records but may lack the necessary technical skills, hardware and software, and/or direct responsibility  for the technology infrastructure. For IT professionals, the reverse is true. In this session, a digital archivist, an archival educator, and an IT professional describe the ways in which they have worked with their counterparts to achieve shared objectives in launching and managing a born-digital records program.
